got back from kl on d 30th nite.
d following day is 31st.
of cos have to go countdown.
initial plan was to meet at marina at 4pm.
den kk suddenly sms us at 2plus to tell us tad d movie is at 4.
how great.
thanks ah.
shld have informed us d day before wad.
so tad we can plan our route.
so last min lor.
hate it.
not a nice organiser.

xina had tuition earlier on.
so i met up with her around 3.30pm.
went to d bus stop at bpp.
waited for quite some time for d bus.
but d bus didn't come.
and it's alr damn late la.
we waited until damn sian.
and both of us were damn tired la.
couldn't realli stand d long bus ride.
in d end, we decided to cab down.
it's gd la.
but bad for our wallets.

reached there around 4.15pm.
quickly went to d theatre.
before tad, i called jason to ask him to buy stuff for mi.
cos i haven had my lunch.
in d end, he didn't buy.
all thanks to kk again.
everytime is his stir up trouble one leh.
so irritating.
it's kinda cold inside.
and i didn't had any food.
not even a drop of water.
was damn thirsty la.
no food, no drink, got cold air.

i feel tad d movie was not bad la.
i dont have high expectations.
jason think it's not nice.
after tad, we quickly got out from d theatre.
we were walking to d shopping mall.
suddenly, i heard someone called out my name.
and to my surprise, it's kim.
she's with hasan and cheong cheong.
such a small world la.
we met one another in less than 24 hrs.
they were going to help out in d countdown.
so we chatted with them for a while.

d ppl watching movie was mi, xina, regine, meishi, jason and kk.
after tad, meishi and regine had smth to settle.
so they went off first.
before coming back to meet us.
4 of us den went to look for places to have our dinner.
all of us were damn hungry.
and i'm damn damn thirsty.
walked around.
den xina suggested waraku.
but she can't realli rmb where's d place.
so we looked up in d directory.
and we just followed tad stupid kk around al.

anihow lead us around.
he tot he noe d place well enough.
when i got kinda irritated, i asked wad's d unit no.
and i immediately noe it's d wrong floor.
so we just followed blindly behind kk.
thanks ah.
so tired, hungry and thirsty alr.
still waste my energy walking around.
so i suggested not follow him.
so we walked our own ways.
and we manage to find our way there.

so we just sat down there.
cos waraku is full.
so have to take queue no.
meanwhile, we were waiting for enqi and des to come.
waited for quite long.
cos 6 ppl not easy to get seats.
den we change to 8 ppl.
cos regine and meishi were coming back.
while waiting, we took photos.
and they served us drinks too.
so nice la.
almost died of thirst.
d drink saved mi. hahaha.

finally, our turn came.
while waiting, we alr looked at d menu.
so we took our orders quite fast.
sat down, decided between a few choices.
look at d drinks.
den wait for d food to come.
enqi's order was d last.
yet her food was d first to arrive.
mine was d 2nd.
too hungry alr, so we started eating first.
nice food. =D
delicious.

other food came subsequently.
mi and xina even shared a side dish.
veri veri nice side dish.
love it.
meishi and regine were supposed to join us.
but they took too long to come.
before they even arrived, we've alr finished our food.
so we left d place.
before tad, we girls went toilet.
after we came out from d toilet, ms and regine had arrived.
and they decided to go eat carls junior.
so i gave them a voucher.
hahaha.
new yr present for them.

wanted to sit with them.
but it's fullhouse.
so they went to eat.
d rest of us stood outside discussing.
discussing wad to do next.
kk insisted on staying for d fireworks.
xina wanted to go someone else's place.
and most of them wanted tad too.
so we have to decide which hse to go.
so we just stood outside and discuss.

after tad, i took d chance to go inside.
i said i wanted to ask their opinions.
but i also wanted to take their fries.
hahahaha.
xina and jason came along with mi.
and we ended up staying inside there.
d other 3 outside ended up shopping around.
hahaha.
so we were inside eating fries, chatting.
mi and jason can't stand d fries temptation.
so we bought another packet of fries.
too nice and too tempting.

after we finished eating, we went to meet d others.
kk bought flowers and pooh for his gf.
des bought flowers for enqi too.
den jason saw smth hilarious.
expression of a woman who saw kk holding d flowers.
damn damn funni la.
den we alr kinda decided to go home.
but tad stupid kk made use of des and jason.
made them hold his flowers while he went to fetch his gf.
such nice frenz ah.
waste our time for nth leh.

after tad, the couple went off.
while we walked to esplanade to take bus.
alot of ppl were like sitting around marina area.
waiting for fireworks i guess.
wad's so nice abt fireworks.
just tad few seconds onli.
i watched before and i told myself i wont watch again.
cos there's just too mani ppl.
and i realli hate it.
i hate crowded places.

so went esplanade to withdraw money.
den have to walk up d road cos d bus stop at esplanade is closed.
they even bind up part of d road for ppl to walk i think.
while walking, we saw 700.
but we can't board.
den we continue walking down.
and i saw 960.
so all of us immediately ran for d bus.
and we did manage to fun for it.
jason was d fastest.
cos he's wearing shoes.
enqi was damn noisy.
cos of her slippers.

and off we went. back to my hse.
we reached my hse at around 11.45.
so still have time to slack around.
watched some shows before d countdown.
took some photos too.
den countdown to 2009!
after tad, we played card games.
i forget d name.
but i played smiliar ones before.
but different versions.
it's rather exciting.
and we played til around 2am.
den we dispersed.

all of us were too tired i guess.
cant realli play much.
when we stopped playing, everyone would be lying around.
see how tired everyone was.
though we didn't realli do alot of stuff.
haha.
but well, it's a fun day spent with 4/5 peeps.



and so it's 2009 already.
time realli flies.
let's recall back wad i've done in 2008.
2008 was a well-spent year i guess.
a fruitful year where i've got to learn alot of stuff.

firstly, started my working life.
started first as private tuition teacher.
den i realised i can't realli stand kids.
so i decided to change job.
went on to work at samsung call centre.
my first formal job.
colleagues there were realli veri nice.
treat mi veri nice.
cos i'm one of d youngest there.
but d job realli sucks.
cos there's different type of customers.
sometimes, i realli cant stand them and i attitude them back.
i'm onli part-timer.
so i dont realli care.

initially, i worked kinda hard.
picked up alot of calls.
i even got d highest call rate.
initially, i got veri affected by those calls too.
but i've learnt to take things easy.
i didn't stay for long.
abt 2 months or so.
cos i realli dont like d job though i like d ppl there.

den i switched to another job.
firstly, it has a higher pay.
secondly, it's more convenient for mi cos it's near my dad's office.
and it wont be tad tough cos it's not service industry.
i worked as maths qns setter.
quite an easy job i guess.
sit down and think of maths qns.
but can get frustrating at times.
it's easy to solve tough maths qns.
but it's not easy to come up with those tough maths qns.
and most of d times, we have to work backwards.
cos d ans cannot be some weird numbers.
so we cannot anyhow input any numbers we like.

and d ppl there was nice too.
while working, we can listen to music.
as long as we got do our work den can alr.
and i get to work with my frenz.
so lunch time, it would be more fun.
worked with jason, xina and yilong.
and just so happened tad norvin is having attachment in tad area.
so i can meet up with him for lunch too.
so it's a nice job.
and i worked till end of june.

tad's abt it.
my working life.
oh ya. i did a part time 3 days job in july with angelyn.
slack job but gd pay.
another thing is tad i went to learn driving.
and i passed my driving test on my 1st attempt.
so i've learnt another new stuff besides working stuff.
and i've got my own car too.
it's another gd thing in my life in 2008.

there's even slacking life too.
slacking life before i started to work.
and slacking life after i ended my work.
altogether, i've slacked for around 2 mths.
so it's kinda great.
slacking around, doing nth.

applying for uni is part of my life too.
deciding which uni.
deciding which courses.
all these are tough decisions.
and i went for interviews.
and i manage to get through all my interviews.
new interviewing experiences.
but harder choices.
ntu comm studies.
smu biz mgmt.
nus fass.
a tough choice.

i even went to attend some nus camps.
so i got to noe more new frenz in my uni life.
got to noe new frenz in my uni.
at d same time, i also got in touch with some old frenz.
sec sch frenz, sec sch seniors, jc seniors and some other sch frenz.
so i got to see alot of frenz around.
and my uni life also started.
started to adjust to uni life.
attend lectures and tutorials.
started to study.
joined cca and contribute to my cca.

so i guess my 2008 was a fruitful one rite.
so mani things happened.
good ones.
went to beijing with holiday gang.
den went KL with uni frenz.
my 2008 was quite a gd one.
and d making of new frenz.
i realli did make alot of new frenz.
all of different age groups.
nice nice.

bad stuff.
i can't realli rmb wad bad stuff happened in 2008.
financial?
though i've started working, i feel tad i've spent quite alot also.
so my savings didn't realli increase alot.
friendship?
i've kinda lost touch with some of my old frenz.
still have their numers and stuff la.
but no longer contact one another or even meet up.

either i dont have much bad stuff tad happened on mi.
or tad i can't rmb.
my uncle got married in 2008.
all d gd stuff leh.
1 bad thing is tad one of my colleagues like mi.
and i tried ways to avoid him.
hahaha.
another bad thing i suddenly rmb is tad...
there's tis period of time where alot of unlucky things happen on mi.
during nus studying period.
i dunno y.
tad period, i kept falling down.
so embarrassing.

another gd thing.
most of my driving instructors praised mi.
say i'm a gd driver.
say i dont have much flaws except checking blind spots.
didn't get negative comments.
and instructors mostly were nice.
will chat with mi.
and they nv realli use their emergency brake before.
i'm a in-borne gd driver. =P

learnt alot of new stuff.
driving, work, IT, uni stuff.
oh ya. and i got a new lappie and a new phone in 2008.
okay. i actually got alot more new things in tad yr.
cos of working, i bought alot of clothes and shoes.
and i'm so addicted to shopping.
i spent at least $100 each time i go shopping.
dan hiong rite.
i'm also veri into online shopping.
bought quite a no. of stuff online.

1 sad thing.
mi and my frenz actually planned to go taiwan tgt last yr.
but we cancelled it.
cos everyone was kinda busi.
so kinda sad tad we didn't manage to go.
we've alr planned most of d stuff alr.
but can leave d plan for next time usage.

all the gd things tad happened in 2008.
not much of bad things in 2009.
hopefully, 2009 would be a better yr.
if not, it can be a comparable year as 2008 also.
better not be a bad yr for mi.
resolutions for 2009?
nv realli think abt it yet.
but there's 1 thing tad has been and will always be my first piority.
unless my studying life ends.

so my first piority is to achieve good results!
since young, tad has always been my piority,
and for d next few years, it will also be my first piority too.
until my studying life ends.
and my working life starts.
by then, my first piority would be....
to have great achievements, get promoted and earn big bucks!
and i guess tad will be my piority for my working life.
but it's onli for now.
i might change it when i grow up.

another wish.
i wan to be with my pooh bb forever.
love it alot.
it can never leave mi.
no matter wad it becomes. =DD
my resolutions for now.
and it's all tad i can think of for now.
