here's a post dedicated to ppl who r results-conscious.
wad makes mi wan to write tis is all b'cos of tis anonymous person (name) who has been tagging in my blog.

i just wan to say tad results is not everything.
y be so results-conscious?
even if u're in the top sch & having the best results, it may just mean tad u can study hard.
it doesnt mean u're smart or street smart.
and once u get into the workforce, u'll definitely have a gd starting point.
i dont disagree with it.
yes, u'll have a gd starting point with the interviewees having better first impression.
and cos of your sch & grade, u may get a not-bad job.
but all this is just the start.
if u're not street smart, u dunno how to do your job well, u'll just be stuck in tad position forever.
or maybe u'll be demoted?

on the other hand,
ppl with not so gd grades may not be able to get a high position initially.
but if the person is capable and have the determine to work hard and put in effort,
i believe this person can still eventually make his mark in his work.
grades doesnt mean everything.
some ppl r just born so. they just cant study well.
but they may succeed in their career.
so does it matter in the end whether u have gd grades anot?

yes, gd grades may mean u'll have a higher salary.
but so wad?
money isnt everything either.
having a lower salary doesnt mean he/she cannot get higher salary in the future.

and let mi ask u a qns.
how mani ppl who graduate actually go into the profession tad he/she majors in?
actually the percentage is not large.
sometimes, u study cos u have to study.
u need to study.
u have no choice.
yes, u may study smth u have interest in.
but it doesnt mean u'll be working in a place tad has smth to do with your major.
so in the end, u kinda wasted all your time studying?
cos u dont have the chance to apply wad u've learnt?
and sometimes wad we learnt r all theories.
and these theories r just useless when it comes to the practical thing.
so is getting into a gd sch and getting gd grades tad important?

i wouldnt say its veri important.
but i wouldnt say it's not important too.
the best thing to get out of education is to really learn.
learn and understand and apply.
it's of no use if u ended up memorising all the theories, get gd grades and forget everything in the end.
as long as the grades r decent, i would think it's fine.
cos too poor grades may give a bad first impression.
and it definitely wont help in the promotion and getting higher positions.

to the anonymous person (NAME):
do not insult other sch.
dont think u're smart just b'cos u're in a better sch.
dont be such a noob to say surface stuff like "u're not smart cos your sch is lousy".
it's such a sweeping statement.
by being in a lousy sch, everyone is not smart???
tad's such a low statement tad onli kids who dont understand will say tad.
so dont give ppl the impression u're a noob or a person who looks at things so artifically.
it doesnt do any good to u.
well, if u dont agree to wadever i say, den i would say tad's too bad.
just dont make negative comments in my tagboard anymore.
and if u're tad smart, y not use your real name?



digressing away from tis topic.
i just wan to say i'm done with my 3 papers.
just left with 1 more.
and it's like 4 days away from now.
such a long waiting time.
i realli dont have the mood to study animore.
but i'll still force myself to study.
i hope the papers so far are fine.
and i went out today after my paper.
went to imm swensens with sarah.
eat ice cream & fries!
after tad, went lot 1 to meet faith.
and we went to watch twilight 2.

faith was like super attracted by the movie.
she totally loves it.
haaha.
i find the movie not too bad.
kinda nice.
but like alot of focus on the werewolf.
they definitely r scary.
i got a shock when the wolf suddenly roars during 1 part of the movie.
hahahhaa.
i've slacked for the whole of today.
will try to start studying tml.
all the best to mi and other ppl who still have papers next wk.
and faith have ended her exams!
super gd!!

totally cant wait for holidays to come.
have alr told a no. of ppl tad i'll be going out with them.
just tad i haven confirm a date.
so i will start planning my holidays schedule soon!
too mani outings, limited money.
if only i have more money...
